Current Needs
Daily has volunteer shifts available. In as little as an hour at a time, you can earn your membership as well as a discount.
- Stocker: Our most flexible volunteer position. The primary opportunity is when delivery trucks arrive on Mondays and Thursdays from about 11 a.m to 4 p.m.
- Closer: This is an essential service to the store operation at closing (8 - 10 p.m.). Tasks include preparing the store for next morning’s opening, mostly cleaning. Closer shifts count as four hours toward your working member discount.
- Cashier: Cashiers assist the supervisor with customer service and general upkeep tasks. Shift hours available every day during open hours.
- The Radish needs someone in charge of advertising. We also accept contributions, including feature articles or short product reviews. Membership and discounts on purchases are available in exchange for contributions.
- Anyone with skills in repairing and maintaining refrigeration units. We would gladly trade a discount for periodic assessment and maintenance.
- We always need office supplies such as pens, markers, paper products, etc.
- If you have an office chair to recycle, we could use a couple more.
- Anyone who doesn’t use their city-provided garbage bags, we can gladly put them to use.
- A thank you to John Rogers of Mister Sparky, (formerly Red Electric), for parts and labor done on the coolers at the Co-op.
